Synopsis

Emma Meyer and her mother move in with her stepfather, Lance Wolfe. Emma soon notices that Lance seems to look at her as if he knows about her condition. After she reveals her terminal illness, Lance secretly signs her up for a risky drug trial. She survives, returns accomplished, and takes on his unfinished mission. Guided by the promise of a reunion in the light, she forges ahead through every challenge.
