Synopsis

To keep a deathbed promise to her late friend, Paula Young dedicates herself to taking care of her friend's husband and daughter, neglecting her own family to an unbearable extent. Her husband Jared Grant, unable to tolerate any more, files for divorce and leaves with their daughter, later starting a new life with his admirer Sophie Lang—and only then does Paula realize her mistake, overwhelmed by regret.
