Synopsis

Amelia Scott has been deaf since she was a child. However, she unexpectedly regains her hearing on the eve of her lavish wedding to Samuel Fuller and overhears something very shocking—Samuel has been seeing another woman. He wants both Amelia and his mistress, refusing to choose between them. Amelia won't have it, so she makes plans to vanish on their wedding day and walk out of his life.
