Synopsis

Marcus Braun, the leader of Red Coffin, hides in another city under a fake identity to escape an arranged marriage. There, he meets and falls in love with a university student, Mabel Preston. She becomes pregnant with his child, but he is forced to return to Velmark. Refusing to believe Marcus has abandoned her, Mabel goes after him. With interference from Marcus's fiancée and a series of misunderstandings piling up, their love story is destined to be tempestuous.
