Synopsis

A Christmas night fire separates childhood friends Roo and Hawk for sixteen years. Roo, now using the name Annabel, carries burn scars and a damaged leg. To save her family business, she is forced to marry Hawk, who has changed his name to Caesar. In this marriage, which starts with business interests, Caesar remains obsessed with the missing Roo, while keeping a cold distance from Annabel.
