Synopsis

Seth Palmer tirelessly pursued Vera Lane for six years before finally winning her hand in marriage. However, Vera remained wholly devoted to her prayers, never consummating their union. It isn't until Seth finds her praying over a photo of her stepbrother, Steven Lane, that he realizes Steven is the one she has loved all along. Heartbroken, Seth divorces Vera and leaves the country.
