Synopsis

Ruby Smith’s mother-in-law is tragically involved in a major car accident during a trip and urgently needs a blood transfusion. Eight months pregnant, Ruby rushes to the hospital, frantically calling her husband, Luther York, but he doesn’t answer. As she reaches the doors of the operating room, the doctor issues a critical emergency order. To her shock, Ruby spots Luther at the hospital—with his mistress and her son—seeking medical care for the child.
